Citi Field is a baseball stadium and home of the New York Mets, located in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park, in Queens. This famous stadium was opened in 2009, and this is considered one of the most worth seeing in New York. Citi Field was once called Shea Stadium and it was built in 1964, but in December 2001 the city decided to give the New York Mets an opportunity to reconstruct Shea Stadium into Citi Field. In which the whole project was $900 million dollars and the stadium was open to the public, late March of 2009 just before the MLB 2009 Opening Day season.

Citi Field is filled with many features that gives people many excitement to see, for example at the front entrance of Citi Field has a Rotunda named after the legendary Jackie Robinson; Robinson was known for being the first Black Baseball Player to ever play and the owners of Citi Field wanted to show their respect by naming the Rotunda after him.
