If you plan to go up, get the crown tickets, but they sell out fast so buy them early.
The elevator takes you up to pedestal, but to get to the crown, you have to walk the rest.
Beware, there are a lot of steps to climb all the way to the top of the statue, the number of the steps are marked on the side of the wall.
